ABOUT ME
De'Shawna Yamini is a lifelong learner with a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential. For over a decade, she served in student services, guiding first-generation college studetns as a "guide on the side" in their academic and personal journeys.
​
In 2020, De'Shawna received the Distinguished Staff Member Award in recognition of her committment to student success. She also served as the program director for Grow to Live, a nonprofit youth gardening program that teaches life skills through hands on experience with nature.
​
Inspired by the sale of her rental property, De'Shawna earned her real estate license in 2021 and now helps others experience the benefits and empowerment of homeownership.
​
In addition to her work in education and real estate, De'Shawna is a certified holistic health consultant and published author. Her 2022 children's book, If She Can Do It, I Can, Too!, encourages young readers to believe in themselves and their limitless potential.
​
De'Shawna holds an associate degree in Computer Information Systems, a bachelor's degree in Management and Communication, and a Master of Business Administration. Driven by purpose and fueled by lifelong curiosity, she continues to inspire others to learn, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
